1. Extreme Scarcity of Interdisciplinary Talent
Building 3D world models requires a convergence of Generative AI, Infrastructure, Diffusion Models, Computer Graphics, and 3D Vision. Finding world-class talent across all these orthogonal disciplines is incredibly difficult.
2. Severe Lack of 3D Training Data
The internet has accumulated very little 3D data compared to text or 2D images. Acquiring high-quality 3D data natively is excessively expensive and fails to meet the generalization requirements for multiple real-world scenarios. We overcome this bottleneck through a unique, highly scalable proprietary data strategy.

Former Research Director at SenseTime with a Ph.D. from ZJU. Widely recognized as a top-tier AI researcher, he brings an exceptional track record of delivering foundational, zero-to-one technological breakthroughs.
He engineered the world's first commercial mobile SLAM solution—predating Apple's ARKit and Google's ARCore by years. Later, he spearheaded SenseTime's transition to 3D generation by driving the development of their core foundation model, StarGen.
